DESCRIPTION:GET YOUR FREE TICKETS HERE\nBus Experience opens at 6pm. \nJoin us for an evening of film\, performance and discussions about the use of solitary confinement in IL prisons. We’ll premier new stop motion film shorts\, called These Walls Do Talk\, created by formerly incarcerated artists who experienced solitary confinement. Following the screening a panel discussion with animation artists Alfred Higereda\, Madeline Mendoza and Benny Lopez will be facilitated by artist and educator\, Sarah Ross. We’ll finish the evening with performances by Mud Theatre Project members and ways you can get involved in ending solitary confinement in IL. \nAbout the bus: The Journey to Justice bus is a mobile museum and hub for change\, featuring a life-sized solitary cell model\, audio and visual experiences\, a photo exhibit of survivors\, and creative spaces for sharing stories.
