The Journey to Justice Tour builds on a powerful legacy of mobile protest—from Rosa Parks refusing to give up her seat to the Freedom Riders challenging segregation—taking to the road to expose this crisis and empower communities to demand change. \nWe invite you to a special evening guided by the powerful testimonies of those who know this issue best: the survivors of solitary confinement. Hosted at the Mt. Kisco Presbyterian Church\, this event is structured in two parts: first\, an opportunity to bear witness\, and second\, a chance to turn that witness into action. \nFrom 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM\, the Journey to Justice bus will be open. Step aboard this ‘Smithsonian-style’ interactive museum\, where oral historians—individuals with direct\, lived experience—will be present to share their stories alongside the powerful audio installations and immersive exhibits. Their presence makes the devastating human cost of solitary confinement immediate and impossible to ignore. \nThen\, from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM\, join us inside for a Community Conversation led by directly impacted leaders. This is a vital space to process the experience\, ask questions\, connect with advocates\, and discuss concrete steps we can take together to end this torturous practice in New York.
